She already has a hit single about wine, and now Adele has revealed she is counting down the minutes until she can guzzle down a glass or two.
The 34-year-old singer is currently taking Las Vegas by storm with her hotly anticipated Weekends With Adele residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
The star has been performing to fans in Sin City since the middle of November - and will be singing week after week all the way until the end of March 2023.
And it seems the star is looking forward to a glass of wine at the end of her run.
According to The Sun, Adele has opened up about her love for a glass of white - and claims she banned herself from drinking while her residency is in session as she fears she would do something silly.
Looking ahead to the end of her run, the singer said: “I’m going to have a white wine as soon as I step off stage.
“If I have one now I will forget my lyrics and take my bra off or something.”
She added: “I’m going to get drunk for the first time in months.”
Adele’s residency and been due to commence at the beginning of the year - but was abruptly cancelled hours before the curtain had been due to go up as she threw a hissy fit over her stage designs.
The rescheduled dates finally began on November 18 - with tickets selling for thousands of pounds.
Adele will be able to afford the finest wine she can get her hands on - as her residency and the release of her album, 30, last year has seen her income sky rocket.
According to stats released at the start of this week, Adele added £11.5million to her fortune last year after releasing her first album in five years.
With cash pouring in from royalties, figures last week showed her company Melted Stone Ltd has reserves of £15million for 2021, up from £3.5m million in 2020.
It takes the profits from Rolling in the Deep star Adele’s lyrics and sheet music and it is now worth £3.4m.
However, her firm A Adkins Touring Ltd which looks after live music made a loss of £88,000.
Adele recently admitted to her audience in Las Vegas that she loves nothing more than watching them settling into their seats before she takes to the stage.
She told her Caesars Palace audience: “At 6.45 when the doors open, there is a live stream of all of you in my dressing room and I am obsessed.
“I watch it from 6.45 right before I stand over there to start.
“I love seeing you come in with your partners and friends.”
While she has also been revelling in her weekend show success by taking to Instagram following each weekly performance to share highlights photos from her set.
