Adele lost 7st by implementing three lifestyle changes. The singer was motivated to make changes to her diet to protect her voice after surgery.
The lifestyle changes began back in 2012 when she started to improve what she ate. It was the birth of her son, Angelo, nine years ago, along with the need to protect her voice after surgery, that began her personal transformation.
The Grammy Award winner had to give up her 10 cups of sugary tea each day at the start of her journey, followed by alcohol, cigarettes, caffeine and all "spicy, citrusy, and tangy" foods, Mirror Online reports.

Referencing her vocal haemorrhage in 2011, the singer told Australia's 60 Minutes: "It's ******* boring, but I don't think you take your voice seriously until you've had an accident... I'm frightened all the time I'm going to damage my voice."
Adele shed more weight in 2016 with the aim to "get some stamina" ahead of her tour. By the following year, she is believed to have lost more than two stones. This was reportedly due to implementing a second change - The Sirtfood Diet.
The diet claims a follower can "eat your way to rapid weight loss and longer life by triggering the metabolic super powers of the Sirt Food Diet". Slimmers fill up on plant-based foods like kale, buckwheat, green tea and turmeric.
The foods are known as sirtuin activators, and are said to control the way the body processes fat and sugar and regulate the appetite in the process. Green tea and cocoa powder are also on the menu, along with red wine and cheese.
A third lifestyle change was implemented by the singer as she aimed to improve her health from all angles and made some changes to her fitness regime. She hired LA 'body wizard' pilates instructor Camila Goodis - who also works with Piers Morgan's wife Celia Walden.
It is understood that Camila was introduced to Adele through Robbie Williams' wife Ayda Field. The down-to-earth star still isn't a huge fan of working out. Camila told The Sun: "I trained Ayda for a long time and it happens that they are good friends so I did Adele when she was there in Robbie’s house. I don’t believe she liked exercise much but she has changed her lifestyle and I believe that 90 percent was dieting."
Despite Adele's dedication, she has refreshingly admitted that she will never, ever, relish going to the gym. "I mainly moan. I’m not, like, skipping to the ******* gym. I don’t enjoy it," she told Rolling Stone in 2016.
"I do like doing weights. I don’t like looking in the mirror. Blood vessels burst on my face really easily, so I’m so conscious when I’m lifting weights not to let them burst in my face. And if I don’t tour, you’ll catch me back down at the Chinese!”
