Adele has once again sparked speculation she has married partner Rich Paul by referring to herself as a “wife” during her Las Vegas residency show.
The British singer, 35, dropped another major hint that the pair had tied the knot during a casual conversation at her Weekends With Adele show in Sin City.
Discussing 44-year-old sports agent Paul’s love of American football, Adele said she didn’t share his passion for the game. “I’m not the greatest wife when it comes to football,” she quipped.
It comes just weeks after Adele, who went public with Paul in July 2021 two years after she split from ex-husband Simon Konecki, called her partner her “husband” while on stage.

In footage from the gig earlier this month, the singer told a female audience member: “You can’t marry me. I’m straight, my love, and my husband’s here tonight.”
When the fan responded, “Can you try?” Adele hilariously replied, “No, I don’t want to try. I’m with Rich. You’re crazy, leave me alone.”
After the video went viral online, fans of Adele were quick to point out her off-hand “husband” remark and question whether the pair had already said ‘I do’.
One fan commented: “her husband??? omgg Adele Paul???” while another remarked: “Did she secretly get married?”
“HUSBAND?!?!?!?!?!?!” a third wrote. “No. Stop. MOTHER IS MARRIED??”
Echoing many fans’ sentiments, a fifth penned: “Excuse me miss ma’am your whatttt??”
It was previously reported early in 2023 that the pair were engaged after Adele was spotted with a large diamond on her finger. Reports suggested that the couple were set to wed in the summer.
In August, Adele confirmed she’s “ready to be a mum again soon” and excitedly revealed she already has a list of names.
The singer has a son, Angelo, 10, with her ex husband Konecki.
While chatting to a concertgoer, the multiple Grammy winner said: “I really want to be a mum again soon” before revealing that she’s been taking note of potential baby names.
Adele added: “I’ve actually been writing lists. So every time I see a name that I like, I write it down in my phone.”
Last year, Paul, who has three children from a previous relationship, also spoke about the possibility of having more children.
He told E! News in 2022: “As a young dad, growing a business, it was pretty tough.
“But now looking as an older dad and my kids being much older, and obviously, if I was to have more kids ... I’m looking forward to being a different dad, a more patient dad.”
