Singing sensation Adele fought back tears during her emotional concert comeback at Hyde Park on Friday evening.
The Hello hitmaker, 34, returned to the stage in front of a live audience for her first concert in five years as she headlined London’s BST Hyde Park Festival.
As Adele belted out her 2011 record-breaking hit, Someone Like You, the multi-award-winning songstress was brought to tears by the stunning sounds of the audience hitting every note and lyric of the emotional smash-hit.
The songstress was visibly overcome with emotion before she even made it through her first song, telling the 65,000-strong audience, 'My God, I’m back at home'.
“It’s so strange to be in front of a crowd again. I get so nervous before each show but I love being up here,” she added.
Adele sang some of her new hits, including Easy On Me, Oh My God, and 'I Drink Wine, and dedicated the rest of her 15 songs to her previous albums and most famous smash hits.
Adele put on a confident display as she entertained the 65,000-strong crowd, no doubt determined to put on a show to remember after she devastated fans when she cancelled her Las Vegas residency at the final hour in January.
Her 12-week show, Weekends with Adele, was due to kick off at Las Vegas' Caesar's Palace on January 21.
However, just one day before, Adele took to her Instagram to announce that she would be postponing the shows, saying that it wasn't ready yet.
But due to being so last minute, many fans were left out of pocket due to some already being on their way to Las Vegas and spending money on hotels and travel arrangements.
On her emotional return to the live stage on Friday night in London, Adele showed off her weight loss in the figure-hugging gown which featured a plunging neckline and cut out shoulders.
And she made sure to amp up the glamour with a sophisticated up-do and her signature winged eyeliner and nude lip.
