Adele fans speculate that she's engaged to Rich Paul as she steps out on red carpet with huge rock

Adele has sparked rumours that she's engaged after she showed off a diamond ring on the red carpet of The 2022 Brit Awards.

The 33-year-old singing sensation stepped out at London's 02 stadium this evening and one fashion accessory which got tongues wagging was a dazzling diamond on her ring finger.

The London-born star smiled for the cameras despite facing backlash in recent weeks for cancelling her Las Vegas gigs.

The mum-of-one looked absolutely stunning emerald green velvet gown ahead of the glittering awards.

But her outfit wasn't what got fans talking but what was gracing her 'wedding finger'.

Adele flashed a huge pear-shaped diamond ring amid her loved-up romance with boyfriend Rich Paul.

Six years after she left the awards clutching an armful of gongs, Adele made her return to the BRITs as she competed with other musical masterminds including Dave, Ed Sheeran and Sam Fender.

Her BRITs appearance comes after the music icon was devastated to have had to postpone her Las Vegas shows last month.

At the 11th hour, Adele confirmed she would fly to the UK to perform at the BRITs – after leaving bosses in limbo over the past few weeks.

The Hello hitmaker – who tearfully shelved her Las Vegas residency – said she was 'looking forward' to the ceremony when she dropped the unexpected bombshell last week.

Adele, who is up for four awards took to Instagram to reveal the joyful news as her millions of fans went into meltdown.

"I’m really happy to say that I am performing at the Brits next week,” the singer said excitedly.

And in a bid to tackle rumours in the US that her relationship with sports agent Rich Paul had hit a 'rocky patch', she added pointedly: 'Oh, and Rich sends his love.'

Following her Vegas no-show it had been claimed Adele was going to stay in the US and appear at the Brits via video link.

Caesars Palace insiders are now riddled with concern that Adele will cancel her Las Vegas concerts for good.

"There are rumblings that there are stresses related to Adele’s relationship. These stresses caused her to be in a place where she was just not confident moving forward,” the source added.

“You can’t focus if you’re not where you need to be in your head.”

Adele took to Instagram to share the devastating news that her shows were due to be postponed as Covid swept her team.

In her emotional video message posted on Instagram, a teary Adele said: "I'm so sorry, but my show ain't ready.

"We've tried absolutely everything that we can to pull it together in time and for it to be good enough for you, but we've been absolutely destroyed by delivery delays and COVID," she said, adding that "half my team are down with" the virus.

Adele had been due to perform 24 shows at Caesars Palace Hotel following the release of her fourth album, 30.
