Adele breaks down in tears as fan shows her photo of his late wife at Vegas show

Adele fought back tears at her Las Vegas concert after a fan showed her a photograph of his late wife.

The 34-year-old singer was overcome with emotion as she walked through the audience and spotted the man holding his phone above the crowd while touching his heart.

After seeing the picture, Adele struggled to hold back the tears and dedicated her song Someone Like You to the fan.

In a TikTok video from the event, Adele can be heard saying: "This is for you sir who's showing me his wife on his phone."

Overcome with emotion, Adele added: "When I walk through the crowd, I wish you could see what I can see."

She added: "I know I talk to a few people every night, but then I just see little stories of people happening.

"There was a man, he's just there, can you see him holding his phone up? I think that's his wife on his phone, and I don't think she's here, and it just really moved me.

"It looks like you're here on your own and I'm just so, so sorry for your loss, and I didn't realise what you were showing me until I was over here."

Fans were also overcome with emotion, with one person writing: "Crying bc he looked so content even if Adele didn’t notice, like he was happy knowing his wife would’ve loved just seeing what he’s seeing."

Another commented: "The way he shows Adele, looks at his wife’s picture, and then grabs his heart," while a third fan said: "Adele’s heart is real. She’s a beautiful person."

"Adele soul is just so pure. What an amazing human, she is," another agreed.

Adele was also brought to tears earlier this month when a woman threw a divorce party at one of her shows, with the singer opening up about her own heartbreak.

Adele told the audience: "I know all about broken hearts. You bringing all your friends is so moving to me."

She went on to say: "Relationships falling apart, whether you’re married or not, it’s really difficult – it’s really traumatic."
