Adelaide teens and man free after charges with conspiring to murder dropped

Two Adelaide teenagers and a 20-year-old man have appeared in court charged with conspire to murder.

A 20-year-old Kilburn man and 15-year-old Park Holme boy, who were refused bail on Saturday, had a consultation with the Department of Public Prosecutions and were released from custody without charge.

A 17-year-old had his conspire to murder charge withdrawn, however did attend the Adelaide Youth Court on remaining matters.

He had been arrested on Friday at a Huntfield Heights address.

Police seized a knife and electronic equipment at the premises, and charged the teen with conspire to murder, possess object with intent to kill or endanger life, possess prohibited weapon and assault.

They have not given any details of who the teenager was allegedly conspiring to kill.

On Saturday, police attended a Park Holme address and arrested the 15-year-old boy, also charging him with conspire to murder.

Police seized electronic equipment from the address.

Both teens were refused bail and appeared in the Adelaide Youth Court today.

The 20-year-old man was also charged with conspire to murder on Saturday after police seized electronic equipment at a Kilburn address.

He was refused bail before appearing in the Adelaide Magistrates Court today.

On Sunday evening the 17-year-old boy from Morphett Vale was reported for supply of a prohibited weapon.

He will be summoned to appear before the Christies Beach Youth Court at a later date.

Police said the investigation was ongoing and wished to reassure the community that the alleged threats were not random and there were no safety concerns for the public.
