Adama Bojang: Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham join Crystal Palace in pursuit of striker

Interest in Gambian teenager Adama Bojang is hotting up, with five Premier League clubs currently monitoring the 19-year-old.

Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Liverpool, Tottenham and Wolves are all keeping tabs on the striker, who plays for Gambian side Steve Biko FC.

Bojang guided The Gambia to the round of 16 in the recent U20 World Cup in Argentina, where he scored twice in the African side’s opening win against Honduras.

As Standard Sport first revealed last month, Lens and Eintracht Frankfurt are also tracking the wonderkid, with RB Leipzig having since joined the race for his signature.

Steve Biko FC are understood to have valued Bojang at just £2.6million, which makes the 6ft 3in striker a significantly cheaper option than most centre-forwards being touted for a move this summer.

Bojang, who is also attracting interest from clubs outside Europe, inspired his nation to the final of the U20 African Cup of Nations in March and was named in the team of the tournament after finishing as the joint-second top scorer with four goals.
