EastEnders star Adam Woodyatt could be set to make a sensational return to the soap.
The actor, who played Ian Beale, has reportedly been offered a huge sum in the region of £300,000 to come back.
He appeared on the soap fore more than three decades between 1985 and 2021.
A source told The Sun: “Adam was one of the highest earners in EastEnders and there’s no doubt he’d be looking to come back on at least the same money. They’re keen to get him back after losing Danny.
"But clearly the bosses at EastEnders need to know what’s happening."
Woodyatt has not made an appearance in the show for around a year.
During his time away from the soap, he has appeared on ITV’s I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here and he is currently touring across the UK in a stage play called Looking Good Dead.
The TV personality lifted the lid on why he decided to quit EastEnders during his appearance on I’m A Celebrity.
“I just had another opportunity, there was this play came up and I just fancied doing something different,” he told Frankie Bridge.
He added: “The way the storyline went, they needed me to take a break and the breaks just got longer.”

It comes after Danny Dyer dramatically quit the soap in recent weeks.
The actor was poached by Sky in a six-figure deal in January.
The 44-year-old, who has played Queen Vic landlord Mick Carter since 2013, will leave when his BBC contract runs out at the end of the year.
