EastEnders legend Adam Woodyatt has delighted fans with his latest career venture, two years on from walking away from the BBC soap.
The Ian Beale actor, 54, mucked in to help run a vegan food stall at a festival on Sunday, and excitedly shared a slew of his plant-based creations with his fans online throughout the day.
Adam beamed as he was spotted manning a plant-based street food trailer with catering company Kilty & Co at the CarFest festival in Cheshire.
As he taste-tested some of his culinary creations, the actor didn't look a million miles away from his EastEnders alter-ego Ian, who ran a fish and chip shop and the local cafe throughout his time in Albert Square.
"For the tastiest vegan food at @carfestevent head over to @thekiltandmitt opposite Chef Demo Stage in foodfest," a post on Ian's Instagram account promoting the event read on Saturday.
"@adamwoodyatt is on the garnish and @kiltye26 is in the kitchen. You wont believe 100% plant based food can taste this good."
Fans rushed to praise the I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! star on Instagram on his latest venture, as Adam shared snaps of his cooking to his 106,000 followers.
"That looks so scrumptious," one fan wrote to the former soap star as he shared an array of recipes.
"They look amazing Adam i could eat all if them well done," another commented, with a third adding: "Smashing it babes."
Some fans took the chance to ask Adam if he plans to return to EastEnders underneath his foodie updates, telling the actor the BBC soap is "not the same without you".
Last month, Adam admitted he doesn't see himself playing Ian once again any time soon.
Asked by Kate Thornton on the White Wine Question Time podcast if he knew if or when he would return to the soap, Adam Replied: "No. [I've] genuinely got no idea.
"They've not asked, I've not asked them."
"I think at the moment [Ian Beale's] on the Circle Line. He can't work out where to get off, [he's] just going round.
"He found a night tube and he stayed on it. I haven't got a clue what's going to happen."
Adam went on to explain how he was "quite happy" with his current work - discussing his plans to run the vegan food truck at CarFest on Sunday.
The actor-turned-cook is still the longest-serving main cast member in EastEnders, thanks to playing Ian from the soap's inception in 1985 until his final appearance in January 2021.
Ian is also the most-married character in EastEnders history, with six marriages to five women and two failed engagements.
In his personal life, Adam married dancer Beverley Sharp in 1998 and share two children together.
The pair announced their separation in August 2020, revealing they had split the previous year after 20 years of marriage.
