Adam Thomas appears to have 'confirmed' himself for the new series of Strictly Come Dancing, ahead of the line-up being revealed for this year.
With the next run of the much loved BBC show set to get going in the autumn, the rumour mill has started to throw up the names of potential celeb dancers for 2022, with Packed Lunch presenter Steph McGovern one of those tipped to waltz onto the dancefloor this time round.
The Strictly line-up is usually drip fed across a few weeks, with diffe3rent names being announced on different TV or radio shows but it looks like we might already have our first confirmed contestant as Adam, who is famous being in Emmerdale and finishing second on I'm A Celebrity in 2016, has claimed he's doing the show.

Ahead of returning to the BBC in the much anticipated new series of Waterloo Road, to reprise his role as Dante Charles, Adam told MailOnline: "Bring it all on I love a bit of glitz and glam. I was going to say something then, but it might get blown out of context… I just want to experience the Strictly curse!"
Saying being on a show like Strictly would be all about 'the experience and journey' for him, Adam, brother of Coronation Street actor Ryan and ex Love Island star Scott, added: "I think they should have cameras behind the scenes; it's a good shout you heard it here first. I'm not the best dancer in the world, I wish. Though once I've had a drink, I do believe I'm the best dancer in the world.
"Sober it is a completely different story. I have never won anything in my life so it would be nice but I'm not necessarily competitive."
