Former Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana hopes to cause an 'upset' when Brighton take on Manchester City in the Premier League later this week.
City and Liverpool remain locked in a race for the title as just one point separates the two teams in the table. The Reds could go two points clear with a win over Manchester United on Tuesday night before Pep Guardiola's side play on Wednesday.
The Seagulls have beaten both North London clubs this month, as they secured a 1-0 win over Tottenham on Saturday and a 2-1 victory over Arsenal the weekend before. Lallana hopes they can do the same when they travel to the Etihad to take on the current league champions.

"It's wide open. It's a great year in the Premier League," he told Sussex Express. "There's tough teams week in week out. We are one of them [and have caused] upsets this year against big teams.
"Hopefully we can get one more on Wednesday night against City for my old team."
Brighton faced City earlier in the campaign, but suffered a 4-1 defeat at home back in October. A late penalty was a mere consolation as the Manchester club already led by three goals to nil.
They have, however, taken points off Liverpool this season as the two sides played out a 2-2 draw at Anfield at the end of October. Jurgen Klopp's side comfortably led 2-0 after 30 minutes, but the Seagulls struck back to draw level and the points were shared.
At the Amex last month, the Reds ensured they walked away with all three points this time as a Luis Diaz strike and a Mohamed Salah penalty proved to be enough.
