Adam Kay's 'This is Going to Hurt More' live tour tickets are on sale now

British comedy writer, author, comedian and former doctor Adam Kay has announced a live tour just as the new BBC series airs.

Tickets for ‘This is Going to Hurt More’ officially went on sale on February 11 at 10am, and you can still grab them now - but they’re selling fast.

Adam will kick off the tour on September 7 in Edinburgh, and finish in London on September 24.

Prices may vary venue to venue, but prices for shows in London are priced from £45.

Adam Kay’s live show ‘This is Going to Hurt…More’ features new stories from Adam's second memoir Undoctored: The Story of a Medic Who Ran Out of Patients, as well as entries from his popular diaries as a junior doctor.

Tickets are available to buy now from Ticketmaster with venues such as the Wembley OVO Arena, AO Arena in Manchester, and the Utilita Arena in Birmingham all in the mix.

Ben Whishaw stars as the junior doctor in the latest TV series (BBC/Sister/AMC)

'This is Going to Hurt... More' Tour Dates

Talking about the new tour, Adam said: "It feels like the natural progression of my surreal 2022 to go from Ben Whishaw playing me on television to performing at Wembley. 2023's really going to have up its game – perhaps I'll be made king or move to Jupiter.

"I can't wait to get 'This is Going to Hurt…More' out on the road and subject the UK to more of my repulsive stories."

Adam's first book This is Going to Hurt , has recently been adapted for television and the first episode of the seven-part drama was aired on BBC One last week (February 8).

Since then, viewers have already become obsessed with the hard-hitting look at life working in the NHS.

The popular series, starring No Time To Die 's Ben Whishaw, shows the life of an NHS doctor working in an obstetrics and gynaecology department of a London hospital. You can watch all seven episodes on BBC iPlayer now.
