Adah Sharma, who made her acting debut with horror film 1920, has been spotted looking like a completely different person. That said, Adah has not gained or lost weight, she still looked like someone else entirely, dressed in a worn out cotton saree with her messy hair pulled back and her face sporting sleep deprivation, stress and angst. Surrounded by vegetables on a street, Adah looks like a vegetable vendor. A tweet suggests these photos of Adah are from a look test for a Hollywood film:
This is a remarkable transformation for Adah, who has rarely undergone any huge transformation for a film, so far. Most films don’t often require stars to completely hide their good looks, but sometimes an actor gets a chance to do just that. Looks like Adah’s new role could require her to change her appearance so completely that she becomes totally unrecognisable.
Adah was recently in news after she posted a photo on social media of her sporting pink hair, and a cheeky caption: “Speaking of nepotism... have u met my half Russian sister Adahdinova Pertovski... she can’t act or speak hindi.”
Asked if she was, in a way, taking a dig at the nepotism debate, Adah told Hindustan Times in an interview, “I’ve often been asked about my take on nepotism. I feel the word is being celebrated enough and I don’t have much to add to it. Through this post on social media, I was just cracking a joke about it and making light of a situation that I can do absolutely nothing about.”
Adah, who has been in films such as Hasee Toh Phasee (2014) and Commando 2 (2017) is set to make her Tamil film debut in Charlie Chaplin, where she shares the screen with superstar Prabhudheva.
