Actress Laila Rouass has confessed she didn't enjoy her stint on Strictly Come Dancing.
The former Footballers' Wives star appeared on the BBC ballroom series back in 2009, finishing fourth alongside professional dance partner Anton Du Beke.
Despite her success on the show, Laila, 50, has admitted she found the experience "a nightmare" and even wanted to leave at one point.
Chatting on The Graham Norton Radio Show, the actress - who is engaged to snooker legend Ronnie O'Sullivan - also explained how "you're paid the same" no matter how long you last in the ballroom and Latin dance competition.
"Oh my god that was a nightmare, it was a nightmare! I really wanted to leave, I didn't enjoy it," Laila declared when recalling her time on Strictly Come Dancing.
"I love the show but I wanted to do Blackpool and that's six weeks, and so I go on, we do Blackpool, Rod Stewart's there, I'm thinking I'm living the dream."
After completing her ambition of making it to Blackpool, the actress remained on the show for another five weeks, something the star wasn't exactly ecstatic about.
"[After being voted through] You've got to go to the camera and go 'thank you, thank you so much', and I go 'I can't believe this, I want to go home!'" Laila continued.
"Six weeks and I wanted to go. You get paid the same anyway, whether you're in the first week or the 17th week."
Laila isn't the only celebrity contestant not to enjoy every second of their time on the hit BBC show.
Earlier this month, EastEnders star Natalie Cassidy revealed she felt 'fat-shamed' when she appeared on Strictly Come Dancing in the very same year as Laila.
The Sonia Fowler actress was partnered with Italian professional dancer Vincent Simone during her 2009 stint on the show, and eventually finished in a respectable fifth place.
Chatting to The Sun, the soap star confessed she felt ridiculed when she was asked to perform a move that was usually done by male dancers.
"I was about 4 stone bigger than I am now. Vincenzo was quite little," the mum-of-two recalled.
"And I remember one week, it was like 'oh, we’re going to do this dance, but you’re going to pick up Vincent.'
"I think about it now and think, 'oh that was out of order. That was a bit out of order to me.' You couldn’t do that now.”
Natalie went on to add that she loved her experience on the show overall, declaring it the "best job outside of EastEnders".
