She began her career by winning a Golden Globe for most promising newcomer in the film 'It Came From Outer Space.' Rush went on to star in various productions, including the popular TV series 'Peyton Place' and soap operas like 'All My Children.'

Throughout her career, Rush appeared in a wide range of films, such as 'The Young Philadelphians,' 'Robin and the 7 Hoods,' 'Hombre,' and 'The Young Lions.' She had the opportunity to work alongside legendary actors like Rock Hudson, Marlon Brando, Frank Sinatra, and Richard Burton.

Born in Denver, Rush pursued her passion for acting after graduating from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She received formal training at the Pasadena Playhouse before signing with Paramount Pictures. Her debut film, 'The Goldbergs,' was followed by a role in the sci-fi classic 'When Worlds Collide.'
