During the recent TCA Winter Press Tour in Los Angeles, actor Jake McLaughlin delighted fans by sharing some personal news. The 41-year-old star of the show Will Trent revealed that he and his wife Stephanie are expecting their fifth child.
McLaughlin, known for his private nature, spoke candidly about his growing family during a panel discussion. He expressed his gratitude for being in a good place both personally and professionally. 'I'm just grateful I'm in a really good place right now in the show as far as just my private life at home, which I usually try to separate from the business, and being able to afford the opportunity to go home when I can,' he shared with the audience.
Amidst the applause, McLaughlin bravely announced the impending arrival of their son. 'I guess I could announce it now that we're...I have a son coming in a few more weeks, so yeah,' he said. The news was met with joyful reactions from the audience.

'That'll be number five for all of you that are like, shaking your head at me for having five kids. But we're really happy and excited,' he reassured the crowd.
McLaughlin shared how this experience has made him appreciate the balance between his professional and personal life. 'And so it's been really nice to be able to go home and be with my wife, and make doctor's appointments with her and do all that stuff,' he said.

And that's how it's made me grow as a person, me just being on the show. And I can't be more thankful,' he humbly stated.
This baby will be the fifth addition to the McLaughlin family, joining their daughters Rowan, Reagan, and Freya, as well as their son Logan. With their expanding brood, it's clear that family is a top priority for the actor and his wife.
