Authorities in Falls Township, Pennsylvania, have issued a shelter-in-place order as they search for an active shooter responsible for the deaths of at least three individuals. The suspect has been identified as 26-year-old Andre Gordon, who is considered armed and extremely dangerous. Gordon was last seen driving a stolen vehicle, a 2016 dark gray Honda CRV with Pennsylvania license plate KFR 1534.
The tragic events unfolded on Saturday morning when Gordon allegedly shot and killed two individuals at a residence on Viewpoint Lane in Levittown. He then proceeded to another location on Edgewood Lane, where he reportedly shot and killed a third victim before fleeing the scene. Gordon is believed to have carjacked a vehicle at gunpoint in the parking lot of a Dollar General in Morrisville shortly after the third shooting.
Law enforcement officials have urged residents to lock their doors, move to a secure location away from windows, and follow instructions from authorities. Governor Josh Shapiro has directed the Pennsylvania State Police to assist local law enforcement in apprehending the suspect.
Authorities have described Gordon as approximately 6'1' with a thin build, last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt. He is believed to be in possession of a rifle and possibly other weapons. It is suspected that Gordon knew his victims, except for the carjacking victim, and has ties to the Trenton, New Jersey, area.
Neighboring Middletown Township has confirmed the shootings in Falls Township and is closely monitoring the situation. Residents have been advised not to travel to Falls Township until further notice. The Bucks County District Attorney's Office and multiple law enforcement agencies are actively involved in the investigation.
Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, R-Pa., has assured that law enforcement officials are pursuing the suspect and urged the public to remain vigilant. The Bucks County St. Patrick's Day Parade has been canceled, and several local businesses have temporarily closed in response to the ongoing situation.
Falls Township, located approximately 28 miles northeast of Philadelphia, remains under a shelter-in-place order as authorities work to ensure the safety of residents and bring the perpetrator to justice.
