A man reportedly had acid thrown over him in an assault in Newry in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Police said the victim was assaulted by a number of people in the Chancellor's Hall area of the city at around 2.50am, with the acid thrown on him during that altercation.
He was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries, which included a suspected broken arm and burns.

PSNI Detective Sergeant Best said they were investigating the possibility that a Volkswagen car was connected to the incident.
It was later found burnt out on the Fort Hill Road.
Local Sinn Féin councillor Roisin Mulgrew said it was an horrific attack.
“Whilst details are still emerging about this incident, what is known has shocked the community," she said.
“This type of attack can kill or permanently disfigure a person, and anyone carrying out such an act needs to be apprehended and removed from our streets."
The PSNI has appealed for anyone with information about the incident to contact them.
