Police are hunting for a driver who left the scene of an Armley Gyratory crash that saw a car overturn and the busy roundabout blocked.
Drivers were stuck in gridlocked traffic after the three-vehicle crash in Leeds city centre, with the road closed between Wellington Street and the Ingram Distributor and emergency services at the scene.
Police are now searching for the driver of a Ford Focus that was involved in the crash on the Armley Gyratory this afternoon (Monday). Police and paramedics were called to the busy roundabout at around 12.57pm following the crash between a dark blue Ford Focus, a black Audi TT and a silver Mercedes.

The driver of the Audi, which overturned, was taken to hospital to be checked over.
The accident occurred on the eastern side of the roundabout and adjoining roads such as the A58 Wellington Road became blocked, causing long delays for drivers. Bus services were also hit with delays as a result. The road was cleared and reopened shortly after 3pm.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said: "At 12:57pm today, police were contacted by the ambulance service who were attending a road traffic collision which had occurred on the southbound section of the Armley Gyratory.
"The incident involved three cars – a dark blue Ford Focus, a black Audi TT and a silver Mercedes. The Audi overturned and the driver was taken to hospital to be checked over.
"The Ford Focus, registration YP60RCO, initially stopped but then left the scene of the collision. Enquiries are ongoing to trace that vehicle and driver."
