Two new exhibitions are scheduled for Spring 2025, inviting movie enthusiasts to explore the visionary worlds of acclaimed directors and production designers.
One of the highlights of the upcoming season is the exhibition dedicated to Bong Joon Ho, the mastermind behind the groundbreaking film 'Parasite.' Opening on March 22 at the museum's location in Los Angeles, this exhibit will feature a captivating display of over 100 original items from Bong Joon Ho's personal collection. From storyboards to posters, creature models, and props, visitors will have the opportunity to delve into the creative evolution of the Korean filmmaker, tracing his journey from early short films to his historic Oscar win. Bong Joon Ho himself will be present for a special screening series during the opening weekend, adding a personal touch to the immersive experience.

Known for their contributions to films like 'Barbie,' 'Anna Karenina,' and 'Beauty and the Beast,' Greenwood and Spencer will offer insights into their process of developing visual concepts for the big screen. Attendees can look forward to a hands-on exploration of props, production materials, and even a re-creation of the designers' studio space from the set of 'Barbie,' providing a behind-the-scenes look at the magic of film production.
