The Champions League finally makes its return this evening as Tottenham Hotspur travel to the San Siro to face AC Milan in the first leg of the last 16.
Spurs dramatically secured their qualification to the knockout stages in November with a late comeback victory in Marseille to top Group D. Milan, meanwhile, finished second in Group E behind Spurs' London rivals Chelsea.
Had this tie been a week ago, Antonio Conte's side would've been full of confidence following an impressive 1-0 win over Manchester City with a near fully fit squad. However, seven days is a long time in football and Spurs enter the tie at the Italian champions on the back of a 4-1 defeat to Leicester City at the weekend.

They will also be without the services of Hugo Lloris, Rodrigo Bentancur, Yves Bissouma, Ryan Sessegnon and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, the latter of which is suspended. That said, Spurs do face a Milan side who have struggled massively since the resumption of the season, ending a run of four successive defeats in all competitions against Torino on Friday.
