The investigation into the title-deciding events of last season’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will be presented to the F1 Commission in London later on Monday afternoon.
An inquiry was launched in the immediate aftermath of the 2021 finale after a late and controversial call by FIA race director Michael Masi paved the way for Max Verstappen to take the race win ahead of Lewis Hamilton and, with it, an inaugural world title.
The findings of that investigation will be presented to the F1 commission, a body made up of the teams, FIA and Formula 1.
It is unclear quite what will be made public from the meeting in the capital.
Any findings will not be formalised until a meeting of the World Motor Sport Council on March 18 on the eve of the start to the 2022 season.
Masi’s job remains under threat in a shake-up of how races will be run for the 2022 season and beyond.
