Aberdeen have confirmed that first choice goalkeeper Dimitar Mitov has suffered another injury blow.
The former St Johnstone shot-stopper recently returned from a lengthy spell on the sidelines for the Boxing Day clash at Kilmarnock, but now just two games later it’s been revealed the Bulgarian is back on the treatment table for the next month.
A club update prior to the Scottish Premiership clash against Ross County on Thursday said: “Dimitar Mitov has sustained a minor injury and will be out of action for around four weeks.
“We wish you a speedy recovery Dimi.”
Ex-Celtic man Ross Doohan will deputise in Mitov’s absence.
