Aberdeen fans in loaded Rangers 'Charles Green' reminder in response to 150th anniversary Ibrox celebrations

Aberdeen fans hoped to see their side spoil Rangers 150th anniversary celebrations - and looked to play their part off the pitch.

There was a party atmosphere at Ibrox before kick-off in the Premiership clash with red, white and blue banners filling the ground.

Tifos of some of the legendary figures who made their mark in Govan were unfurled, while fireworks went off as James Tavernier led the team out.

However, the travelling Aberdeen support had their own banner red to wind-up their rivals ahead of kick-off.
