Aberdeen captain Stewart delivers verdict on Rangers Morelos or Colak debate

Aberdeen captain Anthony Stewart has revealed he rates Antonio Colak as a better striker than Alfredo Morelos.

The Pittodrie centre-back admitted his verdict on the Rangers striker debate ahead of the Viaplay Cup semi-final clash on Sunday.

Stewart, 30, has played against both Rangers forwards and reckons Colak has the edge because of his all-round game.

Quizzed on the Rangers striking options ahead of the Hampden fixture, Stewart said: "For me, they are two completely different strikers. I do rate one better than the other..."

Pushed for his verdict on the superior striker, Stewart continued: "I would say that Colak is a better striker than Morelos, in my opinion.

"Just their whole round game (my opinion is based on). I've played against both of them and I can give my opinion on it."

Stewart is confident, however, regardless of which striker he comes up against at Hampden having put in the work off the field to study his opponents.

He added: "I analyse and watch both of their clips and I kind of know what sort of game to put up against them."

Anthony Stewart was promoting Viaplay’s exclusively live coverage of the Viaplay Cup match Rangers v Aberdeen on Sunday at 15.00. Viaplay is available to stream from viaplay.com or via your TV provider on Sky, Virgin TV and Amazon Prime as an add-on subscription.
