Aberdeen ace Lewis Ferguson has brushed off reports suggesting he could head to Italy's Serie A on a bizarre loan deal, and joked that he doesn't know any other languages.
The 22-year-old has been linked with a move to Serie A side Cagliari this month, which would then include an obligation to buy him for £3.5million if they avoid relegation.
Ferguson, from Ferniegair, says he is aware of the reports, but is committed to Aberdeen.
He said: "I don't know anything about it - and I don't speak any other languages!
"I saw it the way you guys have seen it, and I haven't had much time to think about it.
"I saw it late on Monday night and I've had the game to focus on since then.
"But I'm an Aberdeen player just now and I'll be focused on playing for Aberdeen for the foreseeable future, unless something happens."
Ferguson, who scored in the 1-1 draw with Rangers on Tuesday, has also been linked with a move to England, with Watford and Burnley both said to be interested.
