Aussie entertainment icon Abbie Chatfield has truly won the DGAF war after revealing that she was chucking a piss during her rogue interview with Kyle Sandilands. She truly said, “Go piss girl”.
For folks who are not in the know when it comes to Australian radio tea, Chatfield and Sandilands recently quashed their two-year-long beef. I’m talking as recently as yesterday.
To give you a quick recap of events Sandilands’ co-host Jackie O Henderson mediated a discussion and apology session between the pair. Although it was quite tense, it eventually resulted in an apology towards the former Bachelor contestant.
However, when the feud was addressed on the Kyle & Jackie O show, Chatfield was not in the studio but instead was called in via phone with her Peking Duk great hunk of spunk BF, Adam Hyde.
Now, in a cheeky turn of events, Chatfield revealed what she was really doing that whole mediation session.
In a hilarious Instagram Story, the Fboy Island star revealed that she was chucking a phat piss while Sandilands shot her an apology.
“@KeliHoliday just got Kyle to (kind of) apologise for the slut shaming thong on air lmao but I was weeing when I answered the call,” she wrote in a selfie where she’s holding a big thumbs up.
“Adam is an icon nonetheless.”
I don’t know how, but somehow Chatfield chucking a piss while listening to Kyle’s piss-ass apology just makes sense.
Why were Abbie Chatfield and Kyle Sandilands feuding?
Chatfield and Sandilands’ beef began in 2022 when the shock jock and fellow former Bachelor contestant Brittany Hockley interviewed Yung Gravy who had a relationship blossoming with Chatfield at the time.
During the interview, Sandilands and Hockley made some comments that were quickly called out by Chatfield for being slut-shamey. She then took to her It’s A Lot podcast to call out the pair for their behaviour on the airwaves and how their words would impact audiences who were listening.
The feud then bubbled onto social media, with a bunch of other Aussie reality TV stars jumping in like Laura Byrne, Domenica Calarco and Megan Marx.
In 2024, when Sandilands was interviewing Chatfield’s BF, Adam Hyde, he brought up that Chatfield wasn’t a fan of him because of this incident.
With Sandilands digging up the feud, Hyde and Jackie O encouraged him to apologise and hash out the beef with Chatfield on air, which then led to a phone call between the pair.
During the tense conversation, Chatfield called out the shock jock for his comments and made it known his actions on-air are damaging for audiences.
“Well, I just didn’t like the way you both spoke about me, maybe two years ago now. Like I said, I didn’t think that you were even thinking about me. I think you just say things all the time, Kyle. And it has damaging effects to people that are listening. I think that’s the issue,” the former Bachie contestant shared.
Eventually, Sandilands did apologise, with the help of Jackie O and Chatfield, telling the reality TV star, “I’m sorry that if my harsh words implied that you were — slut-shaming — but nevertheless, regardless of whether I meant it or didn’t or didn’t, say it your way or whatever, if it’s offended you, I’m sorry.”
Seems like there’s finally peace in the realm that is Aussie entertainment. Or should I say piss?
