Abandoned home of former manager of Scottish rock legends up for auction

THE former abandoned home of a past manager of two Scottish rock bands is set to go under the hammer.

Bill Fehilly previously worked as the manager of Scottish rock icons Nazareth and The Sensational Alex Band.

Partner at property agent Shepherd Jonathan Reid said: “Abandoned around 2011, last August Strathcona was vested in Perth and Kinross Council following a compulsory purchase process.

“The property offers the opportunity for either refurbishment or redevelopment of possibly two houses, subject to planning.”

The home, named Strathcona, is a 1.5 storey dwelling house with an attached garage that was erected around the 1950s.

In addition to a substantial garden area, the property owns a portion of the adjoining field shared with other owners of neighbouring properties.

The ground floor features a utility room, kitchen, hallway, WC, living room, dining room, sun-room and bedroom.

The first floor meanwhile features a landing, box room, bathroom and four bedrooms – one of which contains an en suite shower rom.

The auction will be held on February 18 and any interested parties can register here to find out more.
