An Abandoned public toilet in Edinburgh is set to become a new café.
The City of Edinburgh Council validated the application on Friday January 14 to convert that derelict toilet into a new community café, with an accessible toilet.
It is believed the Edwardian building in Roseburn Park was created in 1903 and first used as a staff quarters and tool shed, before becoming a public toilet.

The park, just off Corstorphine Road, beside the Water of Leith, is something a local beauty spot and is very popular with local residents.
And it is the local community who want to restore the building and create the café.
The application was submitted by Peter Gregson from Friends of Roseburn Park.
The Friends of Roseburn Park had previously submitted an application in 2016 and they wanted to create new play parks for two to six year-olds, and an adventure style space for teenagers, featuring a basketball court, BMX track and an adult gym.
The group has launched a survey on its website asking locals to have their say on what they would like to see at the park.
The Friends of Roseburn Park describe themselves as a collective community and say the exist to “support the protection, careful development and nurture of Roseburn Park for the community.”
The City of Edinburgh Council will make a decision on the application in the coming day and weeks.
