Aaron Taylor-Johnson is "cautious" about not bringing home baggage from movie sets.
The 34-year-old actor admitted he does his best to shake off the darker characters he plays before he returns home from a film set to his wife Sam Taylor-Johnson, 57, and their daughters Wylda Rae, 14, and Romy Hero, 12.
Speaking on Brittany Broski's YouTube show 'Royal Court', he said: "You’re trying to shed a skin, or actually, like, an aura around you. And you can sort of like convince yourself there isn’t one, but I do feel some people are really susceptible to that, and sensitive to that feeling.”
However, the actor admitted that he undertakes serious preparation when he is taking on a new role.
He said: “It really kinda depends. I kind of enjoy, like, finding habits, like, good and bad habits of that character, and sort of living in that routine and pattern … or listening to certain music that would be associated with that era of time.
"It’s multiple things, because, you’re also, like, changing facial hair or your hair or what your clothes are or what you're wearing, so that — eventually — it becomes second nature, and ideally you’re already in that character when you step on set.
"You can not only change your voice, but you can change the way you move, change the way you walk."
And, Aaron revealed he was on a “very strict” diet while training for his role in 'Kraven the Hunter', including special snacks to curb his “sweet cravings".
