Less than seven weeks ago, Aaron Rodgers tore his Achilles and his season was surely thought to be over. Now, just hours ahead of the Jets’ game against the Giants, the quarterback was spotted dropping back and throwing passes.
Rodgers suffered the devastating injury on Sept. 11 in his first drive for New York but appears to be making remarkable progress from the injury that typically sidelines athletes for a year’s time. Before his team’s Oct. 15 win over the Eagles, Rodgers was seen throwing passes as well but it appears he’s slowly growing more comfortable dropping back.
The four-time MVP has repeatedly maintained that he wants to play again this season but it seems unlikely he’ll make a comeback attempt if his team isn’t in playoff contention.
