Aaron Rodgers has once again got the better of the Chicago Bears, meaning that the Green Bay Packers have won more games than any other team in NFL history.
The Packers won 28-19 in a heated NFC North match-up, to keep their season just about alive. However, at half-time it looked like they could be on for another disappointing loss as they trailed 16-10.
The Bears fans were loving it, even chanting "Green Bay suck" as they opened up a 13-point lead in the second quarter. But it was the motivation that the Packers needed, and Rodgers saluted the Bears fans as they scored 18 points in the final quarter.
It's the most brutal of wins for the Packers, as not only did they come back from behind to seal the win against their rivals, they've now replaced them at the top of the NFL win charts. The Packers have now won 787 NFL games, beating the Bears' previous record of 786.
And they did so in Chicago, after dusting themselves down and turning things around against the Bears. Rodgers and the Packers were being mocked in the first-half, but it's the side from Wisconsin that had the final laugh.
Rodgers is now 24-5 against the Bears, which is a stunning record for a quarterback to hold against one team. But the Bears finally thought they were going to get the better of the Packers no.12, and began to celebrate.
The quarterback looked stunned as the Packers were mocked and humiliated by crowd at Soldier Field. But even with a sore thumb and a rib injury, he inspired a stunning comeback and made sure he celebrated accordingly by saluting the crowd.
Although Rodgers used his experience, it was once again Packers rookie Christian Watson that couldn't be stopped. After catching in the endzone to keep the Packers in the game during the first-half, a stunning 46-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter ensured they secured the win.
Watson now has eight touchdowns in four games for the Packers, and he's in the form of his life. But this is just the start for Watson, who claimed he is "on the rise".
"I still think I'm a long ways from where I want to be," he said. "I'm still on the rise." It's been a dramatic change of form, as he struggled in the first-half of the season.
Watson only made 10 catches in the first six games of the season as he struggled for fitness, but since week 10 he's been unstoppable. "That's the craziest part is just how quickly it's happened over this past month is the craziest part," Watson said ahead of two more touchdowns on Sunday.
"But I mean, I'm just taking it one week at a time, putting in that work, putting in that preparation and everything I need to do. Obviously, I'm thankful for the opportunities. I know I'm not always going to have six touchdowns every month. I think it was just a flash of what I'm able to do going forward."
