We finally — FINALLY!!!!! — got an answer on what Aaron Rodgers wants to do with his NFL future.
And it’s the answer that’s been hinted at so much that it’s become exhausting: The longtime Green Bay Packers legend wants to play for the New York Jets. That’s what he revealed to Pat McAfee on Wednesday, but all that he’s waiting for is current franchise to get the trade it wants from what he hopes is his future team.
So it’s officially official that he’s not retiring — for now! — and that he’s done with the Packers. And that unleashed lots of reaction from Twitter, but we finally saw what Rodgers looks like in a Jets jersey.
Like with Tom Brady when we first saw him in Bucs colors, it’s very weird. Very Michael Jordan as a Wizard:

And yes, he could somehow end up wearing Joe Namath’s No. 12:
“I’ve seen what Joe said, and there’ll be time to talk about that down the road.”
Aaron Rodgers when asked if he’ll wear Joe Namath’s retired jersey number 12.
