Aaron Rodgers has minor calf strain, should be back ‘fairly quick’

Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers is dealing with a strained calf, according to Josina Anderson. The injury is considered minor and Rodgers should be back “fairly quick.”

Rodgers suffered the injury during warmups and did not practice Tuesday. Zach Wilson took starter reps in 11-on-11 drills.

Rodgers even told the media he tweaked his calf but said, “I don’t think it’s too serious” and said he decided to take a “vet day.”

It wouldn’t be a Jets offseason without some sort of minor twist to start OTAs, but there’s no concern here. Rodgers will be just fine.
