There are very few things that could sour New York Jets fans on their new franchise quarterback, Aaron Rodgers, but his takes on the “Back to the Future” movies have New York fans and football fans everywhere perplexed.
In a sitdown Sunday with NFL Network’s Peter Schrager, Rodgers revealed that he thinks “Back to the Future Part III” is better than “Back to the Future Part II”. He did, however, concede that the first “Back to the Future” movie is the best of the trilogy. Still, his take has raised some eyebrows on the internet, which seems evenly split on how to rank the three movies.

“Back to the Future Part III” is the superior movie to “Back to the Future Part II”.

Schrager certainly seemed surprised by Rodgers’ take. Fans were too, though some did chime in with their support for the new Jets QB’s taste in movies.

Back to the Future Part III over Part II is a wild take! Need to rethink if I can trust my QB now https://t.co/wiqnAURkKn

No 🤨 Back to the Future II is the best of the trilogy and an absolute masterpiece. 3 is only pretty good. https://t.co/nqCnaWp7ZR

As a BTTF fanatic, I cannot agree with him, but I respect it. Part 3 is super underrated and under appreciated. https://t.co/cTxzhM57cv

Absolutely true. I liked 3 much better than 2. https://t.co/C08oOIyvLh

If there’s one thing Rodgers is good at, it’s getting people talking. And even if some may disagree with his takes on movies, he seems to be ingratiating himself well in New York during his first training camp with the Jets.
