Aaron Rodgers gave an oddly specific parameter for how good the Jets will be this year

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers understandably thinks his team can contend for a Super Bowl.

However, The Athletic’s Zack Rosenblatt shared just how exact Rodgers confidence is. It’s, well, not how you typically hear this question answered.

Rodgers thinks that the Jets are “one of those 8-12” teams that could feasibly contend for a championship this season, which is all at once a fair assessment for him to make and an oddly specific way of phrasing that.

Does Rodgers think the Jets are the best team in the NFL? The eighth-best? The 12th-best? We may never know exactly how Rodgers feels.

However, Jets fans are well within their right to be excited for the season ahead… at least, y’know, 12-best excited.
