Aaron Rodgers flagged for unnecessary roughness after throwing interception

The play would be a microcosm of the season for the New York Jets and Aaron Rodgers.

The veteran quarterback threw his second interception of the game on Sunday against the Bills in the third quarter.

As Christian Benford headed out of bounds, Rodgers decided to get his shot in and was hit with a penalty for the late hit.

After the play, Rodgers was 9-of-14 for 111 yards and had been sacked for a safety.

The Jets trailed the Bills, 19-0, and were heading toward their 12th defeat.
