Before the Jets and Raiders faced off on Sunday Night Football, there was a heartwarming reunion on the field between the teams' two biggest stars.
Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams spent seven seasons together in Green Bay before going their separate ways. Adams left to join the Raiders in 2022, and Rodgers departed the next season to join the Jets.
Since leaving the Packers, neither player has found the success they experienced together in Green Bay.
Adams had to watch as his college teammate Derek Carr was run out of town in Las Vegas and has struggled with inconsistent usage and quarterback play. Rodgers was injured just a few plays into his Jets tenure.
On Sunday, the two players reunited for a moment before their teams met in action.

Fans who were following the social media accounts of the two NFL stars knew that they had also met up the night before, thanks to a post to Adams’s Instagram account.

Hopefully, the next time Rodgers and Adams meet for an NFL game, both players will be in uniform.
