Aaron Ramsey post Rangers future looks bleak as Juventus push for contract 'termination'

Juventus will attempt to rip up Aaron Ramsey 's contract in the summer following the end of his Rangers loan, according to reports.

The Welshman arrived at Ibrox in a blockbuster deadline day deal from the Serie A giants, but has failed to make an impact in Govan.

The injury-plagued playmaker has managed just 94 minutes of football and one start in the Scottish Cup against League Two side Annan.

Several reports in Italy claim that sporting director Ross Wilson has already informed Juventus that Rangers won't pursue a permanent deal for the 31-year-old.

It appears unlikely that he will receive a second chance under boss Max Allegri, with Calciomercato claiming the Italians will look a "contract termination" in June.

Ramsey has one year remaining on his Juventus contract and reportedly earns a whopping €7million per year at the Allianz Stadium.

The report notes that the club attempted to rip up Ramsey's contract in January before he moved to the Scottish Premiership champions.

The former Arsenal star will be missing for Rangers on Wednesday as they face St Johnstone and looks likely to miss Saturday's fixture against Aberdeen, with Gio van Bronckhorst unable to put a timeline on an injury return date.
