Relieved Aaron Ramsey says he's delighted to be enjoying his football again - and has no problem battling the weather to do it.
The new Rangers recruit made his first start for the club in the Scottish Cup tie with Annan as he made it through 60 minutes unscathed.
It was a long way from Turin for the Juventus loanee though as Rangers ran out 3-0 winners in stormy weather conditions.
Things got so treacherous that Premier Sports had to briefly abandon one of their cameras due to the blurred picture.
But it was nothing new for Ramsey who came through the ranks at Cardiff City so knows all about battling the conditions - even if it has been a while since he's experienced weather like that.
He told Premier Sports: "It felt good to be back out there. The conditions were a bit of a challenge in the first half but I thought we did a good job today.
"My first start for Cardiff was Chasetown away so it was pretty similar.
"Those conditions were a test today, very windy with the rain coming straight into the face.
"But we did a good job and we're into the next round."
Ramsey had the ball in the back of the net at one stage but was denied his first goal by the linesman's flag.
All in all it was a successful full debut though and Ramsey enjoyed every minute of it, even if he was a little "rusty."
He added: "This was my first start in a very long time so it's going to be a little bit rusty.
"I'm glad I got 60 minutes in the legs and I'm feeling good.
"I'm building on everything week by week and hopefully I can start more regularly and help the team.
"I'm just happy to be here and enjoying my football again."
