Departing Aaron Ramsey raised a smile as he put his Europa League heartache behind him to join in Rangers' Scottish Cup celebrations.
The Welshman was the spot-kick fall guy as his failure to convert in last Wednesday's Seville shoot-out put Eintracht Frankfurt on course for victory.
However, the devastated Juventus loan star was treated to a warm round of applause by the Ibrox faithful as he held his hands up while jogging out to warm up at Hampden during Saturday's 2-0 win over Hearts.
And the 31-year-old - who will now return to Turin this summer - was able to take part in the post-match party as Gio van Bronckhorst's men claimed the cup.
Posting a picture of himself grinning with the trophy, he wrote on Instagram: "A nice way to finish the season especially after the big disappointment Wednesday.
"Thank you to everyone for making me feel so welcome.
"It’s been an incredible few months and I’m proud to be a small part of this club's rich history. Thank you Rangers."
He added: "To the blue sea of Ibrox - I want to thank you all for your overwhelming support through the highs and lows.
"You are some of the most passionate fans I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Once a Ranger always Ranger."
