Aaron Ramsey is hoping to end his loan period with Rangers by bringing them the Europa League trophy ahead of their final in Seville on Wednesday. The Gers will travel to Spain after an incredible run in the knockouts of the tournament.
Gio van Bronckhorst's side have defeated Borussia Dortmund, Braga, Red Star Belgrade and RB Leipzig on route to the final, defeating the latter in emphatic fashion two weeks ago. Goals from roving right-back James Tavernier got them going, before Glen Kamara doubled their lead in the first-half. Rangers defence did a solid job against one of Europe's top scorers in Christopher Nkunku through both legs, but the explosive Frenchman brought them back into the game with 20 minutes to go. But just 10 minutes later, John Lundstram found the back of the net to send Rangers to the Europa League final.
The Ibrox team are set to face Eintracht Frankfurt in Seville on Wednesday, with thousands of fans set to descend on the Spanish city. The showpiece final will be played at Sevilla's home ground, the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán, which the Gers played at back in December of 2009 in a 1-0 defeat in the Champions League.

And on-loan midfielder Ramsey will hope to play a part in the final. After joining the club from Juventus on a temporary basis until the end of the season, Ramsey has struggled with injuries and been used off the bench in recent outings. He'll hope to make an impact on Wednesday night, adding that he wants to make history with the club before his loan deal expires.
Ramsey said: "We have produced some memorable results and performances and now we have a chance of creating history with this club. It's right up for there in my career, to play in a European final - those chances don't come around often.
"We are one game away from creating history. I know it's very difficult to reach this stage, but some of our performances have been brilliant - to what we have done, I am not surprised, but now we have to put in one big effort to come away with the trophy."
Ramsey is currently on loan at Rangers from Italian giants Juventus and he says a decision will be made over his future in the summer. There have bene talks of Juventus buying out his contract, which would make him a free agent next summer.
On his future, Ramsey added: "That will be decided at the end of the season, there's no update on that yet. I am just looking forward to the final few weeks here and make it a memorable experience. Conversations will be had, but right now I am just looking to winning these competitions with Rangers."
