Injury-hit Aaron Ramsey could make his return to the Rangers squad for the clash with Motherwell on Sunday.
The Welsh superstar has managed just 94 minutes since joining on loan from Juventus in a blockbuster deadline day swoop, with his only start coming against Annan.
He was absent for the last Premiership outing against Dundee United due to a “minor knock”, that also kept him out of a historic Europa League result against Borussia Dortmund at Ibrox.
Ramsey could be back in the side for the visit of the Steelmen as Rangers look to keep the pressure on Celtic at the top of the table.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst revealed the playmaker was back training with the squad and would be assessed within the next 24 hours.
The Dutchman hoped to change his starting XI following the heroics against Dortmund.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference, the Dutchman said: "Ramsey was on the pitch today and we will see his progress.
"It was a demanding game yesterday so we will assess the players tomorrow as we prepare for Sunday."
