Celtic star Aaron Mooy has called time on his football career at the age of 32.
The midfielder - who earned 57 caps for Australia - is walking away from the sport amid weeks of rumours surrounding his future. Mooy proved an inspired signing under Ange Postecoglou with his form after the World Cup was a key factor en route to a second consecutive Premiership title. But Mooy is calling it quits after a career which included stints with St Mirren, Huddersfield and Brighton.
Mooy spoke about his decision to walk away and appears content with his call. He said: "While it feels really sad to be leaving the game, I just feel the time is right for me. 'I have been so fortunate to enjoy such a great career across the last 15 years, creating some fantastic memories."
