It’s a rough morning for San Francisco Giants fans.
Seems like the franchise had a shot at signing prized free agent Aaron Judge, especially given that he grew up in California and rooted for the Giants.
But as we found out on Wednesday, Judge was staying with the New York Yankees, thanks to a reported nine-year (!), $360 million (!!) deal that, as of publishing this post, hasn’t been officially signed.
And that brings us back to “Arson Judge.”
That typo from MLB insider Jon Heyman became a spectacular meme on Tuesday, so of course fans had to make another round of jokes now that Judge (Aaron, not Arson) agreed to a deal:
So many jokes
Giants still in negotiations with Arson Judge, though. https://t.co/GKBohgKQ0p

If Yankees marketing isn’t making a million Arson Judge jerseys right now they’re not doing their job
