Aaron Hickey has stepped up his return from long-term injury by returning to Brentford training.
In what is a major boost to Steve Clarke and the Scotland national team, the right-back has been pictured with the first team the Premier League club's training base.
Thomas Frank said: "Aaron [Hickey] is training with the first team in parts and the plan is to be fully training next week.
"From next week, he needs a pre-season [to be ready]"
Hickey has been absent for around 16 months, after originally sustaining the hamstring injury in October 2024.

He is expected to feature in a B-team game and then be named on the bench for the first team before coming into contention for a start.
