The Cincinnati Bengals have moved on from the joint-practice fight with the Los Angeles Rams that was highlighted by Rams star Aaron Donald wielding two helmets and using them as weapons.

“It was just a practice,” Donald said, according to the Associated Press’ Rob Maaddi. “It was football. I don’t really wanna go back to nothing negative that happened and talk about something that happened in a practice. My main focus is Buffalo.”
PFT’s Mike Florio added that a PR rep actually stepped in to stop further questions after the above quote:
“Donald’s appearances included a spot with Zach Gelb of CBS Sports Radio. In a very unusual move, a P.R. person actually interrupted the segment after Gelb asked one too many questions about the helmet-swinging fracas from L.A’s joint practice with the Bengals.”
Granted, no elaboration is expected from Donald, just as nothing was expected as far as punishment for the dustup. The NFL has no jurisdiction over punishments for actions during practices and the Rams have decided to make a secret of any potential punishment for Donald.
