Aaron Carter's mum shares his 'death scene' amid fight for answers to his tragic end

Aaron Carter's mother has shared a series of images which were taken in the bathroom where her son tragically died.

Jane Schneck took to Facebook on Wednesday to share the pictures as she begged police to investigate her son's death.

The images were taken at Aaron's home in California on November 5 last year, when his body was found in a bathtub. He was just 34 years old.

The Los Angeles County Coroner's Office said no water was found in the singer's lungs, ruling out drowning as a cause of death.

Shortly after his death, Aaron's family released a statement saying they believed he had died from an overdose after a drug deal gone wrong.

One of the pictures shared by Jane shows the bathtub where Aaron died.

Other images showed towels and jumpers spread out across the bathroom floor.

Jane insisted she had the support of her family to share the pictures in the hopes of bringing attention back to the case.

Alongside the images, she wrote: "Still trying to get a real investigation for the death of my son Aaron Carter.

"I want to share these death scene photos with you all because the coroner wrote it off as an accidental drug overdose. They never investigated it as a possible crime scene because of his addiction past."

Jane also accused police of allowing people "to go in and out" through the bathroom.

She added: "A lot of potential homicide information was there for years. Aaron had a lot of death threats and many many people who were making his life miserable."

Both Jane and Aaron's former fiancée Melanie Martin previously suggested an alleged drug deal made on the night of Aaron's death could have led him to overdose.

In an interview with TMZ in January, Melanie claimed to have found text messages on Aaron's phone from a man demanding $800 (£670) for an unknown substance.

Aaron reportedly replied to the man saying he no longer needed the substance.

Melanie alleges that the man responded to say he would still owe the money. Aaron then asked if he was being threatened, at which point the messages end.

Melanie submitted the texts to the Los Angeles Police Department as evidence following her fiancé's tragic death.

The cause of Aaron's death is yet to be confirmed, with toxicology results still awaited.
