Aam Aadmi Party leader and Delhi minister Satyendar Jain was admitted to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital on Thursday morning after he collapsed in the bathroom inside Tihar central jail, jail officials said.
A jail official said, around 6 a.m. on Thursday, Satyender Jain slipped and fell in the bathroom the hospital in central jail - 7, where he was kept under observation for general weakness.
“The doctors then examined him, his vitals were normals, he was referred to DDU hospital since he complained about pain in back, left leg and shoulder,” the jail official added.

According to AAP sources, Mr. Jain has been shifted to ICU in LNJP hospital, who has been put on oxygen support at the hospital.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal tweeted a photograph of Mr. Jain on Thursday.
“The person who was working day and night to provide good treatment and good health to the public, today a dictator is bent on killing that good person. That dictator has only one thought - to finish everyone, he lives only in “I”. He only wants to see himself,” Mr. Kejriwal said.
“God is watching all, He will do justice to all, I pray to God for Satyendra ji’s speedy recovery. May God give them the strength to fight against these adverse circumstances.” he tweeted in Hindi.
